“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” is a quote that inspires many educators to think of various ways of making children learn. One of the ways of applying acquired knowledge in practice is to get students involved in hosting different fairs.
The Science Department of Nurorda International School organized an unforgettable event that involved senior students demonstrate how science works to junior students. The science fair was a culminating activity of the series of events dedicated to the science week that was held from 13 to 17 October, 2014. During the fair students showed a great number of experiments and tried to explain to people how and why certain processes happen. Students were able to see that everyday objects are, in fact, all scientific processes. The fair is believed to arouse curiosity and interest in sciences and it is hoped that students will try harder to learn during science classes.
There was a culminating event in our school today. The students of Nurorda International School have shown their potentials by building their own water rockets.
