As part of an established good tradition, the School encourages the school community to benefit from

the well-composed cultural diversity of the school. On 11 December 2014, the school held a special

event to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan in magnificent students’

performances. The audience enjoyed the beautiful sounds of the Kazakh dombra performed by the

school orchestra and songs calling for peace and unity as the event proceeded. Mr. Muharrem Ustun,

the School Principal, delivered an inspiring speech demonstrating his skills in Kazakh and English

languages. We believe that the school community will gain so much from such events as they make an

invaluable contribution to developing internationalism in people.

Science Fair in Nurorda International School
    17/10/2014

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” is a quote that inspires many educators to think of various ways of making children learn. One of the ways of applying acquired knowledge in practice is to get students involved in hosting different fairs.

The Science Department of Nurorda International School organized an unforgettable event that involved senior students demonstrate how science works to junior students. The science fair was a culminating activity of the series of events dedicated to the science week that was held from 13 to 17 October, 2014. During the fair students showed a great number of experiments and tried to explain to people how and why certain processes happen. Students were able to see that everyday objects are, in fact, all scientific processes. The fair is believed to arouse curiosity and interest in sciences and it is hoped that students will try harder to learn during science classes.
